Miami Beach
Spreading down the Miami coast for over 10 miles, the famed Miami Beach is hard to miss. This is the place to spend the day in Miami, with thousands of bikini-clad sunbathers flocking to the beach every morning. After only a few minutes of lying in the heat on this gorgeous beach, you will realize why it has become famous throughout the USA and even the world: it is the perfect mix of sun, water and fun. Many hotels and resorts are located along the shore of this sprawling beach, and this is an ideal place to stay if you plan on spending a lot of time in the sand, not to mention the unbeatable view.

A boardwalk extends down much of the shore, making for a nice evening walk. Vendors and cafes are littered along the beach as well so you can stop for some food or a drink in the hot sun. Children will have fun at any part of the beach, but there are playgrounds in Lummus Park that are sure to please, along with volleyball courts and a paved area for rollerblading.
