Miami Climate
The warm climate is one of the main reasons visitors flock to Florida year-round. The most comfortable time to visit this state is in the winter, when temperatures range around 71-77 F/22-25 C during the day, and drop to around 50-60 F/10-16 C at night. Occasionally in the winter the southern parts will experience cold snaps at night, but the temperature always rises to a comfortable level during the day. While the temperature does get very warm in the summer, usually sitting around 90 F/32 C, the extreme humidity can make it seem much warmer and can be uncomfortable. The summer can also be frequented by thunderstorms.
No matter what time of year you visit however, be sure to bring along light, loose clothing for the day and warmer sweaters and jackets in case the evening gets cool. A light raincoat is also a good idea in case of showers. Also be sure to pack sunscreen and tote it along with you wherever you go. Because most tourist attractions are outside, and many have long lineups, you can find yourself sitting in the sun and burning easily.
